The Amarr Empire has had its share of religious cults and fanatics in the past, but few have been as successful or been as feared as the Blood Raiders. Formed by two former members of the Caldari Navy called Fatal and the Rabbit, the Guristas are a constant thorn in the side of the Caldari State. Like the pirates of old, their operation is driven by no ideology save bold-faced greed. Though considered more honorable than many of their counterparts, the Guristas are still extremely dangerous and not to be tampered with.
Once recruited solely from the Amarr imperial family’s personal forces, the Imperial Guard has bolstered its ranks with an alarming number of zealous recruits. In a short time the Guard has grown from a small security detachment to a full-fledged battle company. Its recruits were the first subjects of the Templar program that created today’s immortal mercenaries.
The origin of Mordu's Legion lies in the Gallente-Caldari War, when Intaki military personnel sided with the Caldari. Unwillingly entangled in a local uprising, the Intaki formed a mercenary force under their old Caldari commander, Mordu. Loosely associated with the Caldari Navy, Mordu's Legion is often hired to protect valuable assets outside imperial space.
The Serpentis Corporation was founded decades ago by V. Salvador Sarpati. With time, its ties to the Angel Cartel grew until remote Serpentis research stations became infamous pirate havens. The Templis Dragonaurs are an ultra-nationalist Caldari terrorist organization. The most anti-Gallentean group in New Eden, they were secretly involved in the destruction of Nouvelle Rouvenor, a famous underwater city on Caldari Prime. Rumor has it that Tibus Heth, leader of the Caldari State, was once a member of this organization.
